![]() (this is at 90, I doubt it would go as well on an at-level hunter) I landed hard (like 10~15% HP left, and 15 is being really generous in my assessment) and the impact broke the tame, obviously.īut the Spirit followed me to the ground instead of evade glitching away! I was able to restart and complete the tame with no issue, even while the Spirit was eating my face. I aggroed the Spirit, who attacked me and broke the Levitate, sending me plummeting to the ground. This was kind of where my ingenious plan came a little loose. Once I was in range for Tame Beast, I hit Aspect of the Fox and started the tame. As soon as the Spirit started coming close - not directly in front of me, closer to ten or eleven o'clock in comparison - i stepped off the ledge. I stood on top of one of the tower corner pieces and asked the priest very nicely if they would Levitate me. With Aspect of the Fox and Glyph of Tame Beast, I thought that maybe, just maybe, i could get the Spirit of the North without having to time a Disengage perfectly or kill and wait for a respawn or equip a low-level bow because I didn't want to go looking for one or take the chance of messing up and having to wait for another respawn. if like me you failed 2-3 attempts (didn't melee touch him during the fall, so no aggro), I would recommend to buy an low lvl ranged weapon.)Ĭomment by panpanpandyI tested out a taming theory just now, with the help of a nice undead priest (Morgual-Dragonblight, you really made my day! Thanks again!). ![]() (Edit : I see after posting this that Crimsonhead posted something equivalent, but with melee attack. I hope that will help you to tame that mob, or any other one that flies high and won't one-shot you during the fall (hello Ban'thalos)
